I know right now it seems like everything has come crashing down. I know the thing that was done to you seems so unfair. You may be asking, “Why me God? This could’ve happened to anyone, but why me?” I know it feels like you are drowning in the fear, worry, and anxiety of the future. It seems like every prayer you pray is hitting the ceiling and coming straight back down. It seems just too much to bear. Friend, I wanted to remind you that God has you in this moment for a reason. I know it’s so hard to see past the hurt and unknowns, but you are going to survive this. It seems so impossible, but nothing is impossible for our God. The God of the universe cares about you. He knows exactly what you are feeling, but He also knows where He is leading you. 2 Corinthians 5:7, tells us to “walk by faith, not by sight.” Just lean into him. Be brave enough to take that next step. He won’t forsake you. He is right there taking those steps with you.
